Questions about Christmas markets in Cornwall

When do Christmas markets start in Cornwall?

Cornwall's first is Healeys Cyder Farm Christmas Market, which opens on Saturday 14 November 2026 and runs at weekends to Sunday 20 December; Healeys has not published the individual weekends. The Cornwall Christmas Fair at the Eden Project follows, with a preview evening on Wednesday 18 November and the day fair on Thursday 19 November. The Cornish Winter Fair, Charlestown Christmas Market and the Christmas Fayre at Bedruthan are all on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November. Each card shows the dates.

Are dogs allowed at Christmas markets in Cornwall?

It depends on the market. Healeys Cyder Farm welcomes dogs on leads, though not into its production areas, according to its visitor information for the farm; it has said nothing about dogs for the market. The Cornwall Christmas Fair, held under cover at the Eden Project, does not admit pet dogs. The Cornish Winter Fair is very busy and held mainly indoors, which it gives as the reason it is unsuitable for dogs. Charlestown Christmas Market has said nothing about dogs, and the hotel behind the Christmas Fayre at Bedruthan has not said if dogs may come.

Which Christmas markets in Cornwall are free to enter?

Healeys says entry to its market is free, though its general FAQ warns that free entry can be limited at peak times when the farm is booked up by ticket holders. Entry is free at the Cornish Winter Fair too, which has free parking as well. The Cornwall Christmas Fair is ticketed, and each ticket includes food: supper on the preview evening, and lunch and entry to the Eden Project at the day fair. The Christmas Fayre at Bedruthan costs £2 a head, with under-3s free. Charlestown Christmas Market has published no entry charge.

Is there parking at Christmas markets in Cornwall?

Yes: the Cornish Winter Fair has free parking, Healeys has free parking for cars and coaches, and Charlestown Christmas Market has free parking at the site, with stewards to guide you. The Eden Project's visitor parking is free too, and the walk from its car parks to the fair takes about ten minutes. Visitors to the Christmas Fayre at Bedruthan leave their cars in Mawgan Porth village and ride a shuttle bus to the hotel, and the £2 ticket covers parking, the shuttle and entry.

What time do Christmas markets in Cornwall open?

Charlestown Christmas Market is open from 11am to 4pm on both days, and the Christmas Fayre at Bedruthan from 10am to 5pm on both days. Healeys has not published market opening times.

What is the Wadebridge Prime Stock Show?

It is the livestock competition held on the Saturday of the Cornish Winter Fair. Its classes cover cattle, sheep, produce, craft and cookery, with others for children and schools and for Women's Institute groups and Young Farmers' Clubs.

Every market is listed from the details its organisers and venues publish.
