Three tiers, four surfaces, controlled density.
Every ad slot is a single position. We never show more than one ad per slot at a time — but the inventory behind each slot rotates, so we don't cap how many advertisers a show can take.
Featured
Guaranteed header band. Shared rotation on home, schedule, and vendor surfaces.

Pricing scales by show size — a Village show Listing is £25, a Flagship Featured is £1,500. Per-show flat fee, no ongoing commitment.

Listing
Logo + text. Cheapest. Effective.
The digital equivalent of a printed programme advert: your logo, business name, tagline and contact details shown in the show's directory. Seen by every visitor who browses — not clickable, so it's pure presence and reach.
  • Business name + tagline
  • Your logo (no other imagery)
  • Phone, email and website shown as text — not clickable
  • Appears in the show home page directory and section pages
  • Live for the 2 weeks before the show, through show day
  • Impressions analytics — how many visitors saw your advert

The placement rules

Where your ad appears — and where it doesn't

Advertising surfaces are deliberately limited. We protect the visitor experience because that's what makes the audience valuable in the first place.

Appears on
Show home page
Banner / card slots between content sections. The most-viewed surface on the platform.
Section pages
Small placements between section blocks. Reaches visitors actively browsing categories that match your business.
Schedule view
Between schedule events or in the footer. Visitors planning their day see your ad in context.
Vendor directory
Between vendor cards. Reaches visitors with shopping intent.
Never on
The map
The map is core visitor value — we keep it clean. No exceptions.
Announcements feed
Announcements are for safety, lost-children, and weather. Never compete with that.
Class and trophy detail pages
Competition integrity and memorial sensitivity matter. No ads here.
Plus: we cap density to one ad per slot at a time. Inventory rotates between ads, so a show can take many more advertisers than there are slot positions while the visitor never sees a cluttered page.
The audience match

Who advertises with us

The local and regional businesses already running in printed programmes — now reaching visitors on their phones with click-throughs, calls, and real engagement data.

Local trades
Joiners, electricians, plumbers, builders, mechanics. Listing tier works well — clear contact details in front of the right audience.
Listing fits
Food & hospitality
Pubs, cafés, B&Bs, holiday cottages, farm shops. Card tier — the photo of your food or premises is the hook.
Card fits
Professional services
Funeral directors, vets, accountants, estate agents. Card tier for full context; Listing if you just need contact details out there.
Card fits
Regional brands
Caravan dealers, agricultural suppliers, regional retailers. Featured tier — premium placement across multiple shows.

The numbers

The data your printed programme can't give you

Every impression, every website click, every phone call, every email tap — measured per placement, broken down by surface. Honest attribution per advertiser, not aggregated guesswork.

Sponsor as well?

These are different products. You can do both.

Advertising is paid media placement — pure visibility, no tie to a show element. Sponsoring is brand association — your logo next to a class, ring, or the whole show. Plenty of businesses do both: advertise in the local shows where their audience is, sponsor the one show they have a deeper relationship with.

How it works

Self-service signup. One working day to live.

Self-service advertiser signup is launching shortly. You'll be able to choose a show, pick your tier, upload your image and details, pay through Stripe — and your ad goes live the same day.

In the meantime, use the orange button below. Tell us your business, the show you want to appear in (or shows — multi-show is fine), and your budget. We'll come back within one working day with the right format and pricing.

Already advertise in the printed programme? Many businesses do both — print stays in households for a fortnight, digital reaches every visitor who opens the show on their phone with click-throughs print can't offer. They're complementary, not competing.

FAQs

The questions other advertisers asked first

What's the difference between advertising and sponsoring?
An advertiser pays purely for placement — your business shown in front of visitors, with no tie to any specific class, section, or trophy. A sponsor backs a specific show element (a class, the main ring, the whole show as Principal Partner). Different products with different prices. Most local businesses choose advertising; commercial brands wanting brand-element association choose sponsorship. Many do both — they're not mutually exclusive. We have separate pages for each.
Why is there no free advertiser tier?
Advertising is paid product, full stop. Sponsors get free thank-you credits because they have a relationship with the show that the show wants to acknowledge. Advertisers are buying eyeballs — that's a media transaction with a price. Mirrors print precedent: every show's printed programme charges for advertising space.
How many people will actually see my ad?
Reach scales with show size. A Village show might bring 1,500–3,000 visitors over a weekend; a Town show 8,000–25,000; a County show 30,000–200,000+. Every visitor who opens the show on their phone hits at least one surface where ads appear. You get real impression and click-through analytics — exact numbers, not estimates.
Where do ads actually appear?
Show home page, section pages, schedule view, and vendor directory — those are the four surfaces. Ads NEVER appear on the map (core visitor value), in the announcements feed (safety alerts only), or on class/trophy detail pages (competition integrity and memorial sensitivity). We cap density to one ad per slot at a time — inventory rotates between ads, so a show can take many more advertisers than there are slot positions, while the visitor never sees a cluttered page.
Can I just place one ad on one show?
Yes. Single-show advertising is the most common pattern, especially for local businesses. Pick the show that matches your audience, pick a tier, pay once. Live for that show's pre-show window plus show day.
Can I advertise across multiple shows?
Yes — multi-show advertising is available. Tell us which shows or which region you want to cover and we'll come back with options. Regional advertising packages (e.g. 'Northumberland shows', 'Cumbria show season') are planned for year 2; for 2026 we can set up multi-show manually.
What format works best for my business?
Local trade (joinery, plumbing, electrical): Listing tier works well — clear contact details in front of the right audience. Hospitality (pubs, food, accommodation): Card tier — the photo matters. Regional brand or franchise: Featured tier — larger placement, more surfaces. If in doubt, get in touch with what your business does and we'll recommend.
How do I sign up?
Self-service signup is launching shortly. In the meantime, use the orange 'Advertiser enquiry' button below — tell us your business, the show or shows you want to appear in, and which format suits you. We'll come back within one working day with options and pricing.
What if the show is cancelled or postponed?
Refund handling is documented in our partner terms. Cancellation by the organiser triggers a refund process. Postponement typically transfers your placement to the new date at no extra cost.
