When is the Cornwall Christmas Fair at The Eden Project?
It runs over two days in 2026. On Wednesday 18 November there is a preview and shopping evening from 5pm to 9pm, with a cocktail hour from 5pm. On Thursday 19 November the day fair runs from 10am to 4pm.
Where is it?
At the Eden Project, Bodelva, Cornwall, PL24 2SG. The fair is held in the Link Building, between the Biomes. Eden says it is near the town of St Austell and asks sat nav users to stay on the A391 and follow the signs, as some sat navs send drivers along narrow roads.
How much are tickets, and how do I book?
For 2026 the preview evening on Wednesday 18 November is £34, which includes entry, supper and a glass of wine on arrival. The day fair on Thursday 19 November is £22, which includes entry to the fair and the Eden Project, lunch and wine. Tickets are bought through the Tickets page of the fair's website, and are non-refundable because the event raises money for charity; if you cannot come, you can pass your ticket to family or friends. Children under 5 are free. Eden offers free entry to carers and personal assistants, but because the fair includes a meal, carers are asked to buy a ticket.
What is there to see and buy?
More than fifty stalls sell Christmas gifts, homeware, fashion, jewellery, ceramics, skincare, children's clothing and toys, and food and drink. The Samworth Brothers Cornwall Food Hall hosts the artisan food and drink producers. There is also a grand prize draw, a pre-loved Christmas jumper and ski wear stall, a homemade Christmas cake stand and a tombola, and the Biomes are lit for the duration of the fair.
What food and drink is included?
On the preview evening, supper is a choice of slow-cooked chicken or a vegan and gluten-free butternut squash and sweet potato curry, followed by pudding. At the day fair, lunch is a choice of spiced split pea soup or carrot and ginger soup, both vegan and gluten-free, served with bread. Extra wine can be bought at the food stations.
Where do I park, and how do I get to the fair?
Eden's visitor parking is free. From the car parks it is about ten minutes' walk to the Biomes and the fair: you go in through the Visitor Centre and follow a well-lit outdoor route down the pathways. VIP parking in the Orange 3 car park, just above the Visitor Centre, costs £10 per car and is booked with your ticket. On the preview evening two minibuses provided by Truro High School run between the Visitor Centre and the fair in both directions, and help is available for visitors with mobility needs between the car parks and the Visitor Centre.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are not allowed in the fair, which is held undercover, or in the Biomes, the children's play areas or other undercover areas. Dogs are allowed on the outdoor paths and in the Visitor Centre. Eden asks that dogs stay on a lead. Assistance dogs are welcome across the whole Eden site.
Is it accessible for wheelchair users?
All types of mobility vehicle are welcome. About 25 manual wheelchairs can be borrowed free, first come, first served, and self-propelled wheelchairs and electric scooters can be booked with Eden. Accessible toilets are in the Visitor Centre, the Core and the top and ground floors of the Link Building, and the Visitor Centre has a Changing Places toilet. Eden's site is a former clay mine with slopes, and the fair says space between stalls is limited when it is busy.
Who runs the fair, and where does the money go?
The fair is run by volunteers, and all funds go to Cornwall Community Foundation, which supports grassroots organisations across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Stallholders also give a percentage of their takings.
Can I have a stall?
Stall applications for 2026 have closed. The Stalls pages of the fair's website carry the stallholder information and the current stall lists.
