How to clear local storage
Step-by-step instructions for each major browser. Last updated: 25 May 2026.
About this page
ShowDayGuide stores a small amount of information in your browser's local storage to make the Service work (for example, to cache show maps and schedules for offline use, and to count anonymous visitor numbers). Our Cookie Policy describes what we store and why.
You can clear this storage at any time directly in your browser. Doing so deletes any locally cached show data and resets any preferences you have set (such as event reminders or onboarding progress). The next time you visit the Service, fresh storage will be created.
Find your browser in the list below and follow the steps. If your browser is not listed, the steps will be very similar — look in the browser's privacy or site-data settings.
Tip: All of the instructions below let you clear data only for showdayguide.co.uk. You don't have to clear data for every site.

- Scroll down to Safari and tap it.
- Tap Advanced → Website Data.

Samsung Internet
- Open Samsung Internet and tap the menu (three lines, bottom-right).
- Tap Settings → Personal browsing data → Delete browsing data.
- Select Cookies and site data.
- Tap Delete data.
What happens after you clear
Once you clear ShowDayGuide's local storage:
- Any show maps and schedules you had cached for offline use will be re-downloaded next time you visit the show (signal permitting).
- Your event reminders for any shows you had set up will be lost. You can set them again at any time.
- If you were partway through the organiser onboarding wizard, the wizard will restart from the beginning.
- If you have an account and were logged in, you will need to log in again.
- Your analytics identifier (used to count unique visitors anonymously) will be regenerated. You will appear as a fresh anonymous visitor in our aggregated counts.
