When is Turriff Show 2027?
Expected on Saturday 31 July and Sunday 1 August 2027, to be confirmed by the show.
Where is Turriff Show held?
At The Haughs, Queen's Road, Turriff, Aberdeenshire, AB53 4EF (what3words ///nerd.elephant.asking). The show's travel page has directions from the south and from the north, and a showground map is on its website.
How do I get to Turriff Show and where do I park?
By car, the show's travel page gives the car park postcode as AB53 8DS and says parking is £7 per car; the 2027 charge is to be confirmed by the show. Stagecoach service 35 (Aberdeen to Elgin) stops in Turriff, and the nearest railway stations are Inverurie and Huntly, from where you will need a car, bus or taxi.
How much are tickets?
The show's 2027 ticket prices have not been published. On its 2026 ticket page, adult tickets were for ages 16 and over, children aged 15 and under went free, early-bird tickets were sold online and tickets were also sold at the gate at the full price. E-tickets are only valid on the day they were bought for, refunds are not given, and you can ask a steward at the gate for a re-entry wristband if you leave and come back.
What time is Turriff Show open?
Opening times are 7am to 6pm on each show day. Check the show's website for the 2027 programme.
Can I bring my dog to Turriff Show?
Yes. Dogs are welcome on a lead at all times. They are not permitted in any of the marquees, including the catering tent, the food and drink marquee, the arts and crafts tent, the shopping mall and the industrial tent, or in the restricted cattle pen and equine warm-up areas. Some of the livestock may not be used to dogs (horses, cattle and sheep), so keep your dog at a safe distance, pick up after it, and carry water if the weather is hot.
Can I enter my dog in a show on the day?
Yes: the Companion Dog Show takes entries on the day. It is separate from the Open Dog Show, for which entries must be made before the day. Details and classes are on the show's schedules page.
Is Turriff Show accessible?
Accessible toilets are in several areas of the showground, and in 2026 the PAMIS Pamiloo, a mobile Changing Places toilet, was also at the show. Accessible parking is at the front of the main car park; a Blue Badge is required to enter it, and attendants will guide you. Wheelchairs and mobility scooters can be hired, with booking in advance recommended, and one free companion ticket is issued per full-paying adult with proof of need such as a Blue Badge or PIP letter.
Can I bring a picnic, and are there cash machines?
You can bring your own picnic but not alcohol, which has to be bought from the licensed outlets. There are no cash machines at the show (there are some in the town) and some exhibitors may accept cards. The show also has the EQ Food and Drink Pavilion.
Which day is best to visit?
The show says both days have something for everyone. One day welcomes the horse and pony exhibitors and the other the cattle and sheep, and there is a children's area with a sandpit for toy tractors and animal petting.
