The Warkworth Show
The Warkworth Show is a one-day village show held each August in the courtyard and grounds of Warkworth Castle, near Amble on the Northumberland coast. The 2027 show is expected on Saturday 21 August, to be confirmed by the show. Its roots go back to the medieval Warkworth Feast, and a floral and horticultural exhibition has been held alongside it since 1859; 2026 was the 154th. At its heart is the show tent, with horticulture, baking, crafts, art, photography, writing and children's classes, and an auction of donated exhibits at the end of the day. Around the grounds there's a dog show, terrier racing, a sheep show, classic cars, a pipe band and live music, a fun run, a climbing wall, children's games, trade stands and a food court.
