Royal Lancashire Agricultural Show
The Royal Lancashire Agricultural Show is Lancashire's three-day county show, held at Salesbury Hall near Ribchester in the Ribble Valley. It's a big working show, with cattle, sheep, pigs, dairy, Boer and pygmy goats, heavy and light horses and showjumping, plus a family dog show to enter. Around the rings there are vintage tractors, live music, demonstrations and shopping, and families get a free children's village, a funfair, donkey rides and a petting zoo. Free parking and all-weather walkways across the showground make it an easy day out, whatever the Lancashire weather.
