Powburn Show is a village agricultural show held on the first Saturday of August on its field at East Haugh, Branton White House Farm, just off the A697 at Powburn in north Northumberland. The date for 2027 is expected to be Saturday 7 August, to be confirmed by the show. Traditionally the first of the season's Cheviot sheep and horticultural shows, it is built around sheep classes for hill and lowland breeds, alongside an industrial tent of baking, handicrafts, photography, flowers, garden produce, dressed walking sticks and children's classes. The day also brings a hill race, pony sports and jumping, children's sports, a terrier show and terrier racing, a fun dog show with entries on the day, Cumberland & Westmorland wrestling, traditional Northern quoits, trade stands and craft tents.
