Penrith Agricultural Show
Penrith Agricultural Show is a one-day agricultural show held each July on the show field at Brougham Hall Farm, just outside Penrith in Cumbria. The 2027 show is expected to be on Saturday 17 July, to be confirmed by the show. The Penrith Agricultural Society was formed in 1833 and held its first show the following year. It is a full working show, with cattle, sheep, horses and show jumping, rabbits and poultry, dry stone walling, arable crops, vintage tractors, home-made and home-grown classes and Cumberland & Westmorland wrestling. Around the rings visitors find a food hall, a rural crafts marquee, local trade stands, a catering marquee with seating, a family entertainment area with free activities, a sheepdog display using ducks and geese, and a fun dog and pet show. A free park and ride runs from the town.
