Penistone Show
Penistone Show has been staged 150 times, a volunteer-run community show on the edge of the Pennine market town of Penistone in South Yorkshire. It covers horses and shire horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, goats and poultry, horticulture, homecraft and handicraft, and vintage vehicles, and there's a companion dog show taking entries on the day. Around the rings you'll find trade stands, a craft marquee, food stands and a food hall. The showground is a short walk from Penistone's bus and railway stations and parking on site is free, so it's an easy September day out.
