Osmotherley Show is a long-running summer show that carries on from morning into the evening, held at Home Farm, Thimbleby, near Northallerton in North Yorkshire. There are cattle and sheep, horse and pony classes, clear round show jumping and a gymkhana, and classes for flowers, fruit and vegetables, produce, handicrafts and children. Out on the field there are sheepdog trials, a fell race and vintage tractors, and dogs can join in too, with a gundog scurry and a dog show you can enter on the day. With trade stands and children's entertainment, it's a full day in the country with plenty left for the evening.
