Muker Show

Wednesday 1 September 2027 (to be confirmed)
Muker show field, Muker, North Yorkshire(DL11 6QG)

Muker Show is Upper Swaledale's own show, held in early September on the show field in Muker village, and its committee has bought the field to secure the show's future. Swaledale sheep are at its heart, with an invitation sheepdog trial and working dog judging, vintage tractors, walking sticks and wool, and a big tent of produce, baking, handicrafts, art, photography and horticulture. The village silver band plays through the day, and there are children's sports, a fancy dress parade and open fell races, before the day closes with community singing. Dogs are welcome on a fixed lead, so it's a gentle, traditional day out in the heart of the Dales.
