Keswick Show is a one-day agricultural show held on the August bank holiday on Pump Field at Braithwaite, about a mile from Keswick in the northern Lake District. The 2027 show is expected to be on Monday 30 August, to be confirmed by the show. It is run by Keswick Agricultural Society, founded in 1860, and moved to Braithwaite from its old Crossings Field site in Keswick. The show fills three fields. Sheep lead the livestock classes, with Herdwicks and Swaledales among them, alongside horses and ponies, gundogs, terriers, foxhounds and the Cumbrian Championship Sheepdog Trials. There are novelty dog classes to enter on the day, Cumberland & Westmorland wrestling, the Barrow fell race, sheep clipping, terrier racing, vintage vehicles and machinery, industrial and craft marquees, more than 60 trade stands, a food area with two bars, and a free shuttle bus from the town.

Dogs are welcome on a lead. Please clean up after your dog, be considerate of other visitors, and don't leave your dog in the car. There are novelty dog classes you can enter on the day, as well as gundog, terrier, foxhound and sheepdog classes and the sheepdog trials to watch.
Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas by law.

Parking is free beside the main show field, with a section for disabled parking near the entrance. A free shuttle bus runs all day from Keswick, from outside the Quaker Meeting House opposite Booths, using vintage buses. The showground is about a mile's walk from the town and is spread over three grass fields.

2027 prices aren't published yet. In 2026: adults £10, senior citizens £5, children 5–16 £2, under-5s free, family ticket £20. Cash and card were accepted.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes — dogs are welcome on a lead. Clean up after your dog and don't leave it in the car. There are novelty dog classes to enter on the day.

How do I enter a class or book a stand?
Schedules and entry forms are on the Exhibitors page; horse, sheep and foxhound entries can also be made online through lite.events, and dog novelty classes on the day. Trade, catering and craft stands are booked through the show secretary; 2026 applications closed on 1 July.
