Honley Show
Up in the hills above Huddersfield, Honley Show has made its home on the level fields of Farnley Moor since 1999, carrying on a show its society revived in 1921. It's a full livestock show, with cattle, sheep, pigs, goats, poultry and rabbits, heavy and light horses, handicrafts and classic cars and tractors, building to the main-ring displays and grand parade. Dogs are well catered for: as well as an open dog show and a fun dog show, there's a have-a-go agility course and scurry for your own dog. With live music, children's rides, a craft marquee, a food hall and trade stands, it's a proper June day out in West Yorkshire.
