Goosnargh & Longridge Agricultural Show is a full country show on the showground off Lower Lane, Longridge, near Preston, run each July by a registered charity. Cattle, sheep, heavy and light horses, poultry and rare breeds fill the lines, with pedigree dogs, a young farmers' section, vintage vehicles, and horticulture, baking and crafts for all ages. Families can enter the pet dog show on the day, and after the dog agility demonstrations, visitors' dogs can have a taster run themselves. With children's activities, a food court, a beer tent, a community marquee and trade and craft stands, it's a proper Lancashire summer Saturday.

Where is it?
The Goosnargh and Longridge Agricultural Showground, off Lower Lane, Longridge, near Preston (PR3 3SL). From Preston, take the A6 north and turn onto Whittingham Lane (B5269) at Broughton, then follow the event signs.
How much are tickets?
In 2026, bought online in advance: adults £10 (early bird; £12 full price), children 2–16 £5 including the children's activities, and a family ticket for two adults and two children £26 (early bird; £30 full price). 2027 tickets will be on the show's website.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, on a lead at all times, and please don't leave dogs in cars.
Can my dog take part?
Yes: there's a pet dog show for all dogs with entries on the day, and dog agility taster runs after the demonstrations (£2 a run in 2026).

Through the show's website: in 2026 pitches ran from £55 (4m x 4m) to £250 (18m x 9m), and applications closed in late June. Catering pitches are handled separately by tender.
