Glendale Show
Glendale Show is the annual show of the Glendale Agricultural Society, which has been staging it for more than 135 years. It is held on the Showfield at North Middleton, Wooler, in north Northumberland, on the Saturday of the August Bank Holiday weekend, which in 2027 is Saturday 28 August. It is a full agricultural show with equine and donkey classes, livestock, and a large horticultural and industrial tent covering flowers, vegetables, baking, preserves, handicrafts, photography, walking sticks and children's classes. Around the rings there is main-ring entertainment, heavy horses, a sheepdog display, falconry, a pipe band, vintage farm machinery, a family zone and a fairground, along with a companion dog show and dog agility you can have a go at, trade stands, and shopping and food marquees.
