Farndale Show

Monday 30 August 2027 (to be confirmed)
The Show Field, Mackeridge Lane, Farndale, North Yorkshire(YO62 7LE)

Farndale Show is a proper dale show, held on the August bank holiday Monday in Farndale, the North York Moors valley near Kirkbymoorside, and its annual exhibition has been running for well over a century. It's a full country show: cattle, sheep, poultry, pigeons and rabbits, horses, ponies and a gymkhana, with wool, farm produce, fruit, flowers and vegetables, art and children's classes. Dogs can join in too, with pet dog, gundog, hound and terrier classes taking entries on the day. With vintage tractors and steam engines, trade and craft stands and street food, it's a fine way to spend the bank holiday Monday in the dale.
