Durham County Show
The Durham County Show is a two-day summer show held in early July at its own showground at Thornley Hall Farm, near Thornley in County Durham. The 2027 show is on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 July, open from 9am to 5pm each day. It is a family day out built around horses: a horse show of more than 180 showing classes with qualifiers and championships, and British Showjumping, festival league, showcross and cross-country competitions. Between the rings there is arena entertainment all weekend, an indoor shopping village of around eighty stalls in a large marquee, outdoor trade stands beside the main arenas, and a food village with hot food, coffee, ice cream and bars. Parking is free and dogs on a lead are welcome.
