Dufton Agricultural Show and Sheepdog Trials

Saturday 28 August 2027
Show Field, Dufton, Cumbria(CA16 6DA)

Billed as the Fellside Royal, Dufton Show has been a fixture of the Cumbrian farming year since the 1800s, filling the fields at Dufton with livestock, horses and a family day out. It starts early with open sheepdog trials, then sheep and cattle, fell ponies, mountain and moorland ponies, working hunters and a gymkhana. There are quoits and vintage vehicles, the industrial tent fills with horticulture, produce and handicrafts, and children have sports, a pet show and fancy dress. There's a fell race too, and you can enter your own dog in the novelty classes on the day.
