Driffield Show
Driffield Show has been held on a Wednesday in July since the society's first show in 1854, and it remains a large, full working show at the Driffield Showground at Kelleythorpe, just outside the town. Heavy horses, horses and show jumping share the rings with cattle, sheep and pigs, and there's a carcase competition, feather and fur, horticulture, handicrafts and classic tractors. Around the rings you'll find trade stands, a craft marquee, a food zone and licensed bars, and the permanent buildings, accessible marquees and toilet blocks make it an easy day out for families. Dogs on a fixed lead are very welcome, and parking is free.
