This popular county show brings together the very best of agricultural heritage at Northdale's County Showground. The showground is just off the B6278, 2 miles north of Northdale. Follow the brown tourist signs from the A68. Sat nav: NE47 5AA (this takes you to the main entrance). By bus: The 888 service runs from Hexham to the showground with extra services on show day.

Where to buy: Buy your tickets online or at the gate on the day
Payment accepted: Card and cash on the gate
Adult — £12 in advance, £15 on the gate
Children (5-15) — £5 in advance, £5 on the gate
Family ticket (2 adults + 2 children) — £30 in advance, £35 on the gate
Gates open at 8:30am. Last entry at 4pm. Advance tickets available from the show office or online.

Bar on site
The Food Hall features local producers selling cheese, pies, chutneys, honey, and baked goods. Hot food is available from several vendors around the showground including hog roast, wood-fired pizza, fish and chips, and a burger van. The Tea Tent serves hot drinks, homemade cakes, and cream teas. The bar is located next to the Main Ring with local ales, cider, and soft drinks. Please note: no outside alcohol is permitted.

Show closes: 5:00pm
Main Ring events begin: 9:30am Last entry: 4:00pm The Food Hall and Trade Stands open from 9:00am. The bar opens at 11:00am.
