Cartmel Park, Cartmel, Cumbria(LA11 6QF)

Cartmel Show is a one-day agricultural show on Cartmel Park, beside the village of Cartmel near Grange-over-Sands, just outside the Lake District in Cumbria. The 2027 show is on Wednesday 4 August. The show dates back to 1872 and has been held on Cartmel Park since 1897. The rings hold cattle, sheep, light and heavy horses and carriage driving, along with terrier racing and a mounted fancy dress class. Around the field there is Cumberland & Westmorland wrestling, an agricultural education area with shearing and milking demonstrations, vintage tractors and vehicles, a dog show, a food hall and food theatre, and marquees of crafts, art, horticulture, home baking and village industries. Children can try archery and circus skills, and there is a bouncy castle, birds of prey and a mini zoo, with a brass band and morris dancers through the day.
