Every year Wynyard Hall's Christmas Fayre brings three November days of Christmas shopping to the hall's historic estate at Wynyard, in Stockton-on-Tees. Bakers, crafters and designers from the area and the wider region fill the stalls with handmade gifts, Christmas decorations and seasonal treats, many of them pieces the high street does not sell. Alongside the stalls there is seasonal food and drink, with carol singers and live bands on the programme and a chance that Santa Claus will call in. Part of the fayre is outdoors. Entry is by timed ticket, morning or afternoon, and the hall bills the fayre as a family celebration and the start of the festive season.
