Weardale Show 2026
The Weardale Show (also known as Chapel Show) is held in the picturesque village of St. John's Chapel in County Durham's beautiful Weardale valley, and is a wonderful family day out on the last Saturday in August. This traditional agricultural show celebrates rural life with livestock showing and judging, plus a fun dog show and agility. All children's entertainment is completely free, including racing, face painting, and have-a-go adventure sessions. Enjoy excellent food from local vendors - burgers, fish & chips, hog roast - plus a fully licensed bar with draught beers. The day concludes with live entertainment on the show field, all included with your Saturday wristband.
