When is the Sledmere Christmas Fair 2026?
Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 November 2026, from 9.30am to 4pm each day.
Where is it?
At Sledmere House, Sledmere, Driffield, Yorkshire, YO25 3XG.
What are the ticket times?
Tickets into the fair are timed for 9.30am, 11am, 12.30pm and 2pm. Entry to the Parkland and Gardens is not tied to a time slot.
How much are tickets?
In 2026, advance early-bird adult tickets, on sale until five weeks before the fair, are £5.50 for general admission (standard price £7.00) and £4.50 for Sledmere members (standard price £6.00). Under-3s and carers are free. Tickets are also available on the door.
What does my ticket include?
Entry to the Christmas Fair, parking, entry to the Parkland and Walled Garden, a charitable donation and a discount voucher for the Sledmere Christmas Shop.
What will I find at the fair?
Food, drink and craft stalls, with the producers and makers there to meet. Alongside the fair you can walk in the Parkland and Gardens, visit the Christmas Shops, shop in the Farm Shop and let children play in the Adventure Play Area.
Where can I eat and drink?
The Coach House Café, the Christmas Fair Barn Café and Coffee Corner in the Farm Shop each offer something different.
Does the fair support a charity?
Yes. 25p from every ticket sold goes to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and The Millie Wright Children's Charity.
Is parking free?
Yes. Parking is included in the ticket, and parking in the Main Car Park is free. Access spaces are closer to the Farm Shop entrance.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are welcome in the grounds and at Coffee Corner, but not inside the Christmas Fair itself. Sledmere asks for dogs to be kept on leads.
Is it accessible?
Sledmere says the majority of the site is accessible to everyone. Outside surfaces are a mixture of gravel and cut grass suitable for wheelchair users, with a gentle gradient coming back up from the Parkland and Walled Gardens; the historic stable block is cobbled and uneven. There are accessible toilets at the Main Entrance; there is not currently a Changing Places toilet on site. Two manual wheelchairs can be borrowed, and it is advisable to book them in advance through the Ticket Office on 01377 455198. For access inside the fair itself, ask the Ticket Office.
I run a food or craft business. Can I have a stall?
The fair is almost fully booked for stallholders and is still recruiting mainly food and drink stalls. Stallholder enquiries go to the email address on the fair's page on the Sledmere House website.
