Normanby Hall Christmas Market
Every December, Christmas stalls fill the grounds of Normanby Hall, a Regency mansion built in 1825 in its own country park in North Lincolnshire. The Normanby Hall Christmas Market returns for two days this winter, and it is billed as the park's most popular event of the year. Local traders bring handmade presents, Christmas decorations, pieces for the home and accessories, plus hot and cold things to eat and drink. There is live Christmas music out in the park, and inside the Hall the resident pianist plays carols. The market goes ahead whatever the weather, with the organisers suggesting you dress warmly, and dogs on leads are welcome. Normanby annual members get in free; everyone else pays only £5 to park.
