Newbury Show

Saturday 18 September – Sunday 19 September 2027
Newbury Showground, Hermitage, Berkshire(RG18 9QZ)

Farming and the countryside take over Newbury Showground at Hermitage for a weekend, as the Newbury and District Agricultural Society, a charity, stages its two-day county show with learning at its heart. In 2026 the show said it had averaged 30,000 visitors over the previous three years. Watch livestock judged and machinery at work, explore the Food and Farming Zone, the Countryside Area and the Education Marquee, and see the produce, horse, farriers and bee and honey competitions. Browse the Food and Craft Halls and the shopping avenues, and let the children loose on the vintage funfair and in the craft tents. In 2026 hot air balloons went up at the close for the 42nd year, weather permitting. Dogs on a lead and picnics are welcome, and the show goes on in any weather.

Check the show's website for 2027 parking and prices.
How do I buy tickets, and are they for one day or both?
In 2026 tickets were bought online through the show's website, which the show said was quicker than the gate and worked out cheaper than paying on the day. They were not day specific, under-3s went free, and each paying disabled visitor could bring one carer free of charge. 2027 prices have not been published yet.
Can I bring my dog?
