Leek and District Show

Saturday 31 July 2027 (to be confirmed)
Showground, Dunwood Fields, Longsdon, Staffordshire(ST9 9AR)

Just beyond Leek in the Staffordshire Moorlands, with the Staffordshire Dales and the Peak District nearby, Leek and District Show is an agricultural show and a family day out in one. After more than 50 years at Birchall it moved to Dunwood Fields at Longsdon, a site with more room for heavy livestock and horses. Shire horses lead the livestock, with cattle, sheep, goats and poultry too, and the main ring has carriage driving, a vintage machinery parade, the grand parade of prizewinners and a tug of war for the Young Farmers. Vegetables, fruit, floral art and WI entries are judged as well, with competitions the whole family can enter. Trade stands and artisan sellers by the hundred share the field with food stalls, many of them local. Parking is free, and dogs are welcome on a short lead.
