Launceston Show

Thursday 29 July 2027
Kennards House, Launceston, Cornwall(PL15 7EZ)

Launceston Show is where this Cornish town and the farming country around it meet each summer, and it is the biggest event in Launceston's calendar. It started life as the Launceston Horse Show, after a meeting at the town's White Hart Hotel in 1887, and has been held on the showfield at Kennards House since the mid-1950s. Entertainment in the Main Ring is free and carries on all day, and classic vehicles parade there too. Elsewhere you'll find space for more than 200 traders, sheep shearing beside the Young Farmers' tent, floral art, a creative community marquee of produce, baking and crafts, rural craft demonstrations and a children's area. Dogs on leads are welcome, and anyone can enter the dog show on the day. Parking is free, and a free bus runs from the town.
