Christmas comes to Hopetoun House, the Hope family's ancestral home for over three centuries, with a three-day Christmas Shopping Fair at the end of November. Music fills the decorated Main House while more than 50 artisan exhibitors sell crafts, Christmas gifts, local produce and one-of-a-kind presents, many from local makers. Outdoors, the Food Village has hog roast, handmade pizza, churros, hot chocolate and mulled wine, and the Stables Kitchen is there for a relaxed break over seasonal dishes and sweet treats. Festive afternoon tea in the Carriage Room must be booked ahead. Come for a Christmas shop among the Georgian grandeur of a Scottish stately home.
