Hawk Conservancy Trust Christmas Market

Thursday 26 November – Sunday 29 November 2026
The Hawk Conservancy Trust, Weyhill, Hampshire(SP11 8DY)

The Hawk Conservancy Trust, a Hampshire charity that protects birds of prey, opens its countryside home at Weyhill, to the west of Andover, for four days of Christmas shopping in late November. More than 80 local businesses take part, their stalls under cover and lit in Feathers Restaurant, the Griffon Rooms, the Burrowing Owl enclosure and sheltered spots outdoors, with personalised presents, decorations, homeware and handmade treats. To eat there is a barbecue, bratwurst and chips, with churros and pancakes for something sweet, and mulled wine, cider or a festive hot chocolate to keep warm. The Trust's own shop opens too, with hampers and gift experiences. Three of the four sessions run into the evening, parking is free, and every ticket helps the Trust's conservation work.

Frequently asked questions
When is the Hawk Conservancy Trust Christmas Market 2026?
Thursday 26, Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November 2026, from 3.30pm to 7.30pm, and Sunday 29 November 2026, from 11.00am to 3.00pm.
Where is the market?
At the Hawk Conservancy Trust, Visitor Centre, Weyhill, Andover, Hampshire, SP11 8DY. The Trust says it is four miles west of Andover, just off the A303, and that from the A303 you follow the brown tourist signs.
How much are tickets?
For the 2026 market, tickets are £3.50 online or £4 on the door. A ticket does not include entry to the park or the flying displays. Online tickets are booked through the Trust's website for an hourly arrival time. Your ticket supports the charitable work of the Hawk Conservancy Trust.
Is there parking, and how do I get there without a car?
Parking on site is free, with staff helping to manage cars, and the Trust suggests car-sharing because the market is popular. Without a car, the Trust gives the nearest train stations as Grateley Village (4.5 miles) and Andover Town (4.2 miles), and the nearest major bus station as Andover (4.7 miles).
What can I buy at the market?
More than 80 local businesses sell personalised presents, Christmas decorations and handcrafted treats, with gifts and homeware too. The Trust shop is also open, with gift tickets, experiences and hampers. Some stallholders take card payments only, and there is no cash machine on site.
What is there to eat and drink?
Traditional Christmas market food includes a barbecue, German bratwurst, tartiflette (a French dish of potato and cheese), chips, churros and pancakes, with festive hot chocolates, mulled wine and cider to drink. The Trust says it can cater for most dietary requirements; email it at least one week before the event.
Is the market outdoors, and what happens if the weather is bad?
The market takes place outside in all weather unless the Trust judges it dangerous to go ahead. Stalls are in Feathers Restaurant, the Griffon Rooms, the Burrowing Owl enclosure and covered outdoor areas, all under cover and lit. To check it is going ahead, phone 01264 772252 from noon on the day.
Are dogs allowed at the market?
The market has not said whether dogs are welcome.
Is the market accessible?
Most walkways are laid paths, with some natural unevenness around the Trust. The market has not confirmed wheelchair access, step-free routes, accessible toilets, accessible parking or accessible viewing.
How can a business take a stall?
Traders apply through the stallholder application form on the Trust's website. For the 2026 market, tables cost £45 inside and £40 outside per table per day, with an extra £5 for power. Tables are provided, and pitches are allocated by the organiser. Traders need public liability insurance, and the form lists some categories, such as baked goods and honey, as already full.
