Exeter Cathedral Christmas Market

13 November – 13 December 2026
Exeter Cathedral Green, Exeter, Devon(EX1 1HS)

For a month in the run-up to Christmas, more than a hundred chalets fill Cathedral Green in the centre of Exeter, with the Cathedral's towers, 900 years old, rising above the stalls. Browse handmade gifts, crafts and Christmas decorations, with West Country produce to the fore, then work your way round street food from across the globe and stop at one of the themed bars. From Thursday to Saturday the stalls stay open until 9pm. While you're there, step inside the Cathedral, open for sightseeing by donation, to find its medieval astronomical clock, the world's longest medieval stone-vaulted ceiling and its well-known medieval catflap. Exeter Central and Exeter St Davids stations are both a walk away, and dogs on leads are permitted in the open air.
