Edenbridge and Oxted Show

Sunday 29 August – Monday 30 August 2027
Ardenrun Showground, Lingfield, Surrey(RH7 6LL)

Its roots go back to 1837, and in 2027 the Edenbridge and Oxted Show reaches its 190th year: a two-day agricultural show at Ardenrun Showground near Lingfield in Surrey, drawing farmers and country people from Kent, Surrey and Sussex. Cattle, sheep, goats and pigs compete for red rosettes, there is live milking and shearing, and on Monday the livestock parades round the Main Ring in the Grand Parade. The Country Sports zone brings hedgelayers, stickmakers and farriers, historic coaches are driven four in hand, and vintage tractors parade on both days. Dogs on a lead are welcome, with a Fun Dog Show on Sunday and terrier racing on Monday, and the bars pour ales and ciders from Kent, Sussex and Surrey. Parking is free, and free shuttle buses run from Lingfield and Edenbridge stations.

The showground is just off the A22 near Lingfield and Blindley Heath, 6 miles south of M25 junction 6, and is signposted from the motorway junction with yellow signs. The show asks visitors to follow the event signs and not their sat nav, so that they arrive at the correct entrance.
Is parking free at the Edenbridge and Oxted Show, and is there a bus?
Car parking is free, and the show strongly recommends arriving early to miss the traffic. A free shuttle bus runs between the showground and Lingfield station, and a second serves Edenbridge (Kent) station. The show's travel page lists buses to the showground from 9am to 12.30pm every half hour and back to the stations from 2pm to 6.30pm every half hour, and says times may vary a little in traffic. The 2027 timings are still to be confirmed by the show, so check its website nearer the date.
How much are tickets for the Edenbridge and Oxted Show?
The 2027 ticket prices have not been published yet. Tickets can be bought online or on the gate; the show says buying online is usually cheaper and quicker, with an early bird discount, and an online ticket is valid on either day. Children must be accompanied by an adult. A carer attending with the person they care for gets free entry with proof of need uploaded when booking. Check the show's website for prices.
