When is Drymen Show 2027?
Saturday 29 May 2027, as announced on the show's website.
Where is the show held?
The show's 2026 schedule says it was held in a field near Drymen, and its website describes the day as on the banks of Loch Lomond. The website does not print a street address or postcode for the field; it has a contact form for questions.
What is the parking like?
Car parking is free. Anyone with a car pass for the main showground must arrive by 10am. Disabled parking is available: show your Blue Badge when you enter the show field and follow the instructions on where to park.
How much does it cost to get in?
The show's visitors page currently lists adults £12.50, juniors aged 13 to 17 £5, children aged 12 and under free, and a family ticket (two adults and two children aged 13 to 17) £30. The page carries no year, so the 2027 prices are to be confirmed by the show.
What time does it start?
The 2027 timetable has not been published. At the 2026 show the main ring started with cattle and heavy horse judging at 9.30am, the main parade and prize giving was at 1.30pm and the main ring closed at 5pm. The show's dog page currently lists entries from 11am and dog classes from 1pm.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes. Dogs are welcome provided they are kept on a lead at all times, and owners are asked to clean up after them. The show's dog page currently lists puppy, sporting, non-sporting, open and junior handling classes, plus an obedience class for dogs that have never won an obedience or road safety competition before. Entries are taken on the day.
Is the show accessible?
Disabled parking is available: show your Blue Badge when you enter the show field and follow the instructions on where to park. The show has not published details of step-free access, accessible toilets or viewing areas. The show's website has a contact form for questions.
What is on at the show?
The show's website lists judging of Clydesdale horses, Highland ponies, light horses, cattle and sheep, a fun fair, trade stands, main ring attractions, and pet and craft tents. Rural and school tents hold classes and competitions, including the Drymen Show Bake Off. The 2026 main ring programme included a main parade and prize giving, heavy horse teams, vintage tractors and cars, children's races and a hobby horse competition. The 2027 programme has not been published.
How do I enter a class or take a trade or craft stand?
The show's website has pages for the agricultural and light horse schedules and entry forms, walking sticks, baking and craft classes, schools, rabbits, dogs and eggs; the schedules currently shown are the 2026 ones. Entries can be made online through the show's entry site, linked from those pages, and the 2026 schedule accepted late entries until 8.45am on show day. Trade and craft stands are booked online. The 2026 trade page listed trade stands at £15 per metre of frontage with a £50 minimum for 3 metres, and craft stands at £45 for a 2m x 2m slot, and both were fully booked. Check the website for 2027 terms.
What first aid and safety arrangements are there?
On show day first aid boxes are in the Secretary's Tent and there are fire extinguishers in every tent. A Medical Officer, an ambulance and Trossachs Search and Rescue are on site. Report any emergency to the secretary's tent or to an official wearing a Society badge.
