Denbigh & Flint Show

Thursday 19 August 2027
The Green, Denbigh, Denbighshire(LL16 4UB)

Denbigh & Flint Show began with a meeting in Mold in 1839, when a society was set up to promote farming and industry, and within a few years its yearly prize-giving was simply known as the Show. It wandered Flintshire and Denbighshire for many decades, with a long stay near Rhyl, before settling in 1990 at The Green in Denbigh, in the Vale of Clwyd. At this one-day agricultural show, cattle, sheep, pigs, heavy and light horses and show jumpers are joined by vintage tractors and classic cars, a horticulture marquee of flowers, vegetables, honey and floral art, and fur and feather classes for poultry, rabbits and pigeons. There is a dog show, a food hall and trade stands, and with almost 200 volunteers behind the day, thousands of rosettes and close to 150 trophies are there to be won.
