Christmas at the Horsham Market

6 December – 26 December 2026
The Carfax, Horsham, West Sussex

Horsham's market is almost 800 years old, and each December Christmas at the Horsham Market brings festive stalls to the Carfax, the bandstand square where North Street ends, in the West Sussex town. Look for presents from local makers, many of whom make their wares right at the stall, food raised, grown or baked no more than 40 miles away and sold by those who produced it, and festive street food, with Thai, Vietnamese, Greek and Punjabi dishes among the regular stalls. The season opens with an evening launch party, when the market moves to the Forum and every stall is lit up. On top of the usual Thursday-to-Saturday trading come three Sundays, the run-up to Christmas, a Friday Lates evening on 18 December, Christmas Eve and Boxing Day, with live music at the bandstand on Saturdays.
