Cheltenham Christmas Market takes over the town's pedestrianised Promenade for a fortnight in December. More than 40 chalets line the street, offering Christmas gifts and the work of local craft producers, with a few catering units beside them selling festive food and mulled wine. Entrance is free. Cotswold Markets runs the market, which opens every day from Thursday 10 to Wednesday 23 December 2026, 10am to 5pm, taking in the last two weekends before Christmas.
