Blanchland Artisan Christmas Market

Saturday 21 November – Sunday 22 November 2026
The Square, Lord Crewe Gatehouse, Village Hall and Abbey, Blanchland, Northumberland

Blanchland Artisan Christmas Market turns the Northumberland village of Blanchland into a weekend of handmade gifts. The village lies in a valley right on the county line with Durham, and the market spreads through it: open-air stalls in the Square, a handful of makers inside the Lord Crewe Gatehouse, more in the Village Hall and its Long Room, and demonstrations and workshops in Blanchland Abbey. Over 45 independent traders sell only work they have made themselves, and the organisers try not to repeat the same kind of stall twice. There are clog dancers, choirs and festive music, hot food and mulled wine, and raffles that raise money for local charities. It is free to get in, and your dog is welcome too.
