Aylsham Show

Monday 30 August 2027
Blickling Park, Blickling Estate, Blickling, Norfolk(NR11 6NF)

Born on Aylsham's recreation ground in 1946, Aylsham Show is now a one-day agricultural show in Blickling Park, near Aylsham in Norfolk, drawing 14,000 to 17,000 people and staffed by more than 300 volunteers. Its proceeds have passed £1.1 million, given mostly to local good causes. Cattle have been shown here since 1952 and sheep since 1982, with Lincoln Reds and Herefords among the native breeds, horse classes taking in hunters and mountain and moorland ponies, and young handlers showing cattle. Around the field you'll find free activities in the Learn From The Land area, the Aylsham Flower Club marquee, a fun fair, a Food Market of mainly East Anglian producers and a picnic area by the lake. Under-17s get in free, parking is free and well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
