Aberfeldy Show and Games

Friday 13 August – Saturday 14 August 2027 (to be confirmed)
Wade's Park, Aberfeldy, Perth and Kinross

Every August, Aberfeldy Show and Games brings two days of agricultural show and Highland games to this small Highland Perthshire town. Since 2008 it has had its home at Wade's Park on the edge of town, beside the Tay at Wade's Bridge, with Weem Rock rising to the north and Glen Lyon's hills away to the west. Friday brings working hunters, mounted games, fancy dress on horseback and a pet show. On Saturday the cattle, sheep and horses are judged while pipers, Highland dancers and heavyweight athletes compete, runners take on a 7km hill race and the Menzies Stone is carried. Terrier racing, wrestling, tug o' war, a funfair and a flower show fill out the day, and parking in the show field is free.
